Age Reclaiming Ritual With Jurlique’s Nutri-Define
Naturally healthy, naturally beautiful! My first product from Jurlique was the Lavender Hydrating Mist years ago I bought from the airport in Melbourne. Since then, I got to know more about the brand and how Jurlique was founded based on a deep respect for the natural world. Despite Adelaide holding a special place in my heart, I didn’t know that it houses Jurlique’s own biodynamic farm which delivers all benefits of organic and more. It involves completely foregoing chemical and adhering to biological practice such as soil enrichment and regeneration. As an advocate of skincare and beauty, I too believe in respecting nature and our skin. It is not so much about preserving youth but simply, taking good care of ourselves. I find skincare steps therapeutic, soothing to the soul and nurturing, just like the Jurlique ritual. Nature and Science Last week, I embarked on the Nutri-Define’s age reclaiming ritual, a range created using the most potent botanicals with proven anti-ageing qualities safely delivered into the skin. Together, Jurlique combined five anti-ageing botanicals and natural liposome to form Biosome5 which effectively addresses the multiple signs of advanced ageing, targeting deep lines, sagging, wrinkles and uneven skin texture. With the successful launch of the Nutri-Define line, Jurlique has added three more products to continue to this anti-ageing range. Here are some of my thoughts and how I integrate them into my daily routine for my combi skin.

Nutri-Define Eye-Contour Balm NEW (S$125) Note: I was able to experience the collection with the exception of the Overnight Cream. The Natural Experience The Biosome5 delivers five potent active ingredients; Horseradish, Mulberry, Rosemary Peppermint and Glycogen to penetrate the skins’ layers for visible results. Here is a short guide to the multi-benefits of these active ingredients: 1. Horseradish to improve skin elasticity and firmness. First planted in 2010 on Jurlique’s organic farm in South Australia. 2. Mulberry Root to protect and brighten. 3. Rosemary to invigorate and rejuvenate skin with its anti-oxidant properties. 4. Peppermint to revitalise dull skin and improve uneven skin texture. This herbaceous perennial plant is one of the most loved on Jurlique’s organic farm. 5. Glycogen to strengthen the skin derma defence and firming benefits. 
1. Nutri-Define Refining Foaming Cleanser NEW (S$78) The first item I tried from this range was the Nutri-Define Refining Foaming Cleanser and it did not disappoint. In fact, I was eager to move on to the next step! This rich cleanser contains polishing beads which helps exfoliate and refine the skin texture. Creamy with pillow-like foam, skin feels thoroughly cleansed but not dry, preserving the skin’s moisture level. Instant rejuvenation! 
2. Nutri-Define Essential Conditioning Lotion NEW (S$86) Refreshing! Unlike most toners I have used, this comes in an ultra-lightweight, silky soft yet potent concentrate. This toner serves to address concerns on dark spots and uneven skin tone. Enriched with the Biosome5 technology, it also helps to reduce the appearance of the multiple signs of ageing, fine lines and deep wrinkles and extreme dehydration. To top it, it contains Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide to intensively moisturize skin. After cleansing, this nutrient-rich silken lotion helps maintain its optimum balance and now, our skin is ready to absorb the full benefit of the rest of the anti-ageing Nutri-Define ritual! I love how quickly it gets absorbed into my skin, leaving it soft and supple. Remember to shake well before use. 
3. Nutri-Define Essential Superior Retexturising Facial Serum (S$210) Next, the serum. After my first try, I can understand why this is so well-loved by many. It is also one of the bestsellers for Jurlique internationally. Skin feels silky soft and firm! In addition to Biosome5, this ground-breaking formula contains Ginseng Root Extract and Licorice Root Extract too to firm, contour and boosts the skin’s luminosity for instant soft-focus radiance and youthful look. Whether it is to combat sagging, deep lines and wrinkles, loss of elasticity or dehydration, this is definitely a strong contender for premium anti-ageing serums. 
4. Nutri-Define Multi-Correcting Day Cream (S$167) One of the creamiest day creams I have tried which delivers smooth and hydrated skin throughout the day. Infused with botanical oils, this multi-benefit anti-ageing will help restore our skin’s optimal moisture balance especially on days when skin feels stressed out or looking exhausted. Besides the Biosome5 potent ingredients, the day cream contains Shea Butter which is rich in essential fatty acids to promote a smoother looking appearance and Squalane to prevent water loss from the surface of the skin due to its deep moisture retention properties. For those who prefer gel or less creamy texture in the day like me, we can also double it up or use it as a night cream. It comes with a spatula to scoop and use our fingers to warm up before application. I find it very nourishing for my neck too which serves as an alternative to my neck cream. 
5. Nutri-Define Eye-Contour Balm NEW (S$125) Soft and creamy, the Eye Contour Balm is specifically crafted to address the multiple signs of ageing, and rejuvenate the entire eye contour. By now, we are all familiar with the multi benefits of the Biosome5 active ingredients. It is very comforting to know that our eyes too will get to enjoy the potent blend. Although it is a rich eye balm, it feels comfortable and has not given me any sign to stop as I would often with richer eye creams. It helps replenish, tone and firm the eye area. Most importantly, it targets deep lines, crow’s feet and sagging skin to make eyes appear firmer, more youthful and beautifully smooth. It’s been a week now and seems promising.
